Southrose is a diverse agricultural company incorporating a merino & poll merino stud as well as
lucerne hay and lucerne seed production.
Grown from an established farming family, Southrose is owned and run by people familiar with the volatile nature of agriculture and from that it has developed into a resiliant, flexible and passionate business. In recent years, Southrose has narrowed its focus to two key areas of production being the sheep stud and lucerne seed.
These two enterprises complement one another to create a farming mix that is suited to the climate afforded by Southrose's location in the upper South East of South Australia and also allows us the occassional weekend off or (dare we say it...) holiday.
