Situated 23km north of Tintinara in SA's Upper South East, Southrose is a 3000 hectare property
running 2000 fine-medium stud Merino and Poll Merino ewes.
(see map below)

The stud ewes came together in 1979 following a redivision of the Ashby family's stock which was originally registered in 1910.

The stud is currently operated by Jim & Hilary Ashby and their son Jono.
